ERP Today: No Safe Haven?

For years, Small and Medium Business (SMBs) have followed the lead of the larger corporations in terms of how and what to select regarding ERP systems. That leadership role is currently faltering. The large corporation buying hiatus, "lessons learned" and turmoil in the ERP marketplace itself, will leave SMBs to evaluate their purchases in new light. What they're likely to find out is that a return focus on product fit results in every bit as good, and perhaps, an even better purchase decision.
